The hat is great and unique. While it took a fair bit of time to get it delivered I was very pleased with the end result. They took into consideration my comments regarding canvas colour and patches and sent an item that matched my comments perfectly. Really well made and worth the money for being made out of thick canvas its is surprisingly breathable for the style of hat the digger is, I have a hat of similar design but different material and your head heats up fast wish I would have pulled the trigger and bought it sooner will highly recommend the only complaint that I had was the logo placement but it is not a deal breaker cause it is stitched on in a way you can remove without damaging the hat

I love my new digger hat! Living in a land of sun (Arizona) hats are a must, so I've tried my share. This is the first hat - ever - that the second I put it on, it felt like a part of me... instant perfect fit and comfort. And I love the look! With each one being unique, I wasn't sure what mine would be like but it's the perfect color and stitching! Way cool. And so far, it is literally cool on my head, a very important factor. This purchase was a classic example of going from not knowing anything about the product, to seeing it, to buying it, to loving it. It doesn’t happen often – but if you’re looking at these Digger hats and saying “well, I don’t know…” I’ll tell you that you won’t be sorry if you get one.
They are as advertised: durable and good looking. Worth the cost, too. You can probably spend more and not get as good of a hat. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star review is that the front “eave” of the hat hangs just a little bit lower than I like. It’s great for keeping the sun out of your eyes, but it obscures my vision just a bit. Not so much that I won’t wear it regularly. I really like the style.
Everyone who sees the hat wants to try it on – and they like it. I’ve only had one person attempt to take it from me – but I blame that on the person, not the hat.

Best work hat I've ever bought. It absorbs sweat like crazy and after 3 weeks of heavy use it's gotten better. No gross stains or sweat smell. They do fit a little small, but they stretch and form to your head like a glove. I'll be buying more items from them for sure.

you suggested to measure my hat size and it worked fine. Thought it was to tight but within a week it stretched out to fit perfectly. Wish I would have bought a chin strap for the windy days, but can always make due. Might add a note on your site that chin strap available.

I don't like my Digger Hat, I LOVE IT!!! I'm out in nature a lot photographing wildlife, and the Digger Hat provides great protection from the sun. It is lightweight and comfortable for all day use and it looks great! My head measured at the very top of a smaller size/the very bottom of a larger size. I originally ordered the smaller size, but the hat was too small. If you are in that situation, I'd recommend going with the larger size. Customer could not have been better in helping with the return and timely exchange. Happy with this purchase!

I tend to destroy stuff and have avoided buying a new hat for years. Saw this and figured for the price I'll give it chance. It's only been a couple of weeks but it fits and sits real well. Love the hat, although I bought a 2xl because I felt that the xl hat I had previously purchased was a bit tight. A little disappointed that the 2 xl fit feels very similar to xl. I guess it will take some wearing in? Moral of the story, I should have bought one fresh off the market stall at mindil markets rather than ordering online! Definitely a first world problem and I think I’ll grow to love my hat! Other than that service and ease of ordering was great and it arrived on schedule.

This is the most useful and the toughest hat I've ever had. It provides needed shade from the Florida sun and, surprisingly, stays cool even though it is heavy canvas. That heavy canvas is also durable in the rain--it is practically waterproof, and you do not have to worry about mildew when it gets damp. I have and will continue to recommend it to friends.

Hi I bought one of your hats at a blues festival in Byron Bay about 10 years ago. Great hat that I use outdoors all the time. While it looked rustic when I got it, it has even more character now. Done a few more KMs on the ride on lawn mower, when I've got out fishing and just general activities outside. Just bought this one as its a bit more dressy to wear out and about. Have put friends on to you as well. Maybe a stall at a NZ fixture? great wear and tear. Keeps all weather out. excellent products
